I think the answer is yes, it already exists.
But can you explain more about what you want to achieve?

Well it is not me. But can give you an exampel:
I have some pictures about my personal family. I have my daughter as user, my cousin and an another relative.
All 3 of them are members of my tree
In gallery I have these pictures of my daughter. And I want only my daughter to see these pictures. Not the 2 other membersI know I can make a “around” by making another tree (but a stupid way if we just can have the roles instead in the modules)

OK, that’s pretty much what I expected.
There may be a couple of ways to do this, but I think the the easiest is to ensure your daughter has a different (higher) level of access as a user than the other two. So if all three are currently “members”, increase your daughter to “editor”. If all are editors, make your daughter “moderator”. I would expect that as she is your daughter that should not be too great a problem.
Now create a new gallery just for the pictures of your daughter, and set it’s access level to the same as she now has. You will need to place those pictures in their own sub-folder as well.
To do any more than this would mean allowing a module to have access control by user, which is not very practical.

Ok thank you – we will try this (much more simple than the other way around)
And I learned something new 😛
