Hi Nigel,
I hope you have a bit time to help me out with the code for this page:
http://www.danishfamilysearch.dk/ and in english: http://danishfamilysearch.com/
return $link = ‘http://danishfamilysearch.com/search/record/results#count=20&query=%2Bgivenname%3A%22’
.$primary_name[‘givn’]
.’%22~%20%2Bsurname%3A’
.$primary_name[‘surname’]
.’~’;I can not figure out how to do it!
This page is going to be a necessary tool for those who has relatives in Denmark

Jacoline
You will need to give me the URL of an actual and successful search to use as a test case.Nigel

I am using this ancestor: http://www.jaconelli.dk/webtrees/individual.php?pid=I284
and get the encl. results (in danish and in english)
Dont know if others want it in english (for those who want to search for the danish relatives). Personally I just want it in danish 🙂

Yes, that is good, but what is the URL (web address) that you see when you do that search?

Either this:
http://www.danishfamilysearch.dk/search
http://www.danishfamilysearch.com/searchIt does not change url when it show the result
or I do not understand your question
This link is the english version:
http://www.danishfamilysearch.com/searchCan you by visiting the page get the answer for your question – because you lost me sorry!

That is the answer I expected.
But it tells me that the Danish Search web site will not accept a URL that includes the search terms (like name) through a URL. Many sites do this to improve their security. But it means that simpl_research cannot be used to access those sites.
Sorry, but unless you can persuade that site to tell you an alternative way to send a search request via a URL then we cannot do it.

Okay I ask the author of the page – I do not think it will be a problem!

I think it probably will be a problem, but let us know what they say.
