Have just upgraded to 3.2.3. Still checking out but all looks very good. I am particularly impressed by the new version of the Relationship Chart function – it’s incredibly fast compared with the old version – well done Nigel!! There are also many options to ensure the right type of relationship/connection checks are made to meet the specific need – that’s really helpful. If anyone is concerned that relationship/connection by marriage is no longer detected – which it isn’t in the default settings, you need simply go to Admin – Modules – Manage Modules – Relationship Chart and in settings, select ” Find a closest relationship via common ancestors, or fallback to closest overall connection”. This then provides you with the means to toggle this option on or off at execution time, which is great (so you can check if their is any blood relationship and if not click the ‘closest connection’ option which shows connection via marriage).
