I do know my family relationships are complicated. And I found out that the relationship calculator breaks down in this calculation:
My mothers father is related to my fathers father: https://www.jaconelli.dk/webtrees/module.php?mod=fancy_treeview_descendants&mod_action=show&type=overview&rootid=I2652&lang=en_USThe ID numbers are showned in the enclosed image

I think with (a lot) more memory it would/should work.
I can’t follow the exact details, but it looks to me as if the relationship should look like the attached diagram. That is a very bad paintshop join of two relationships, from Terkal to each of your grandfathers. If it is correct, then the links are very simple, and should (in English) be something like ninth-cousins, or similar.
In that case, I would like to try and find out (from Richard Cisee who wrote this code) why it doesn’t work. Have you tried it with more memory? Perhaps on a local installation where you can give it as much memory as it needs? I could try that (in a few days) if you don’t mind me grabbing a copy of your GEDCOM file temporarily.

I have 1024 in memory at my page. But yes you are correct about the relationship!
You have access so you can just “grab” the gedcom file for testing!

I have been able to confirm that the problem is server capacity. I can’t tell you exactly how long it took ( but I might try again with statistics enabled), but before starting I set my server to have 2019M memory, and 3000 seconds before time-out.
Attached is the result.

Sadly I have to agree. However the other factor is that the two sons of Terkel (at the top) are not full brothers. They are in different families, with same father and different mothers. This makes it much more complex when calculating a relationship.

On a second run here are the statistics:
Execution time: 1,713.649 seconds. Database queries: 511. Privacy checks: 503. Memory usage: 16,384 KBSo the problem is time (nearly 30 minutes) rather than memory (only 16 MB), but still not something practical in reality.

Nearly 30 minutes – wow
Well it was only to have the relatioship written in my “BIG” report (book) – prolly none will run this beside me. And the calculator does not has visitor access. I was actually thinking of removing the chart menu for visitors since I am still alive (root person) most of the charts are empty for visitors.Thank you for your time 🙂

What format do you need for your “BIG” report (book)? I can send you a full size screen dump of the result if that helps.
