Done. No traces left of my attempts. The media folder contains subfolder “rebbes” where images are. Numbers G1.png onwards.
Use any of them for your gallery so you have existing photos.

Thanks. You will be please to know it is a software bug, not anything you are doing wrong. A strange one too. As you have seen, the gallery on my own site (using identical code) works. But, if I try to add a new “gallery” alongside the existing ones, that one doesn’t display anything.
I’m looking for the cause. Will let you know when fixed.

This one I’m keeping!! It’s not me <LOL!>. Because yours works, feel free to test on the site. I’m leaving it as-is.

I think I have managed to track the bug though. I hope to be able to send you an updated file for the gallery module tomorrow, once a few more tests are finished.

Try replacing the file kiwitrees/modules_v4/gallery/module.php with the one from the attached zip folder. Then see if my gallery “Test” on your system shows, with it’s single image.

I uploaded the file and then logged ino Rebbes/Royals. Cleared cache. But, I don’t see the Gallery on my menu. Went to Admin > Modules > and under Gallery, says the module can’t be found.
I followed exact instructions for replacing. I replaced the file with the original 3.7.7 and it re-appeared.

Not sure what you did. Looking at your admin logs it appears you probably deleted the whole gallery module??
2020-10-02 14:47:44 config Module gallery has been deleted from disk – disabling it 99.239.195.121 rebbes
Its only the file module.php that needs to be replaced, inside the module folder.
Can you try again, and then if it still doesn’t work, leave it not working so I can look.

I only update file however, tried again and I see Gallery in menu. I see “These are the Rebbes gallery.
But no images.Thought to look in data/media etc.
I see the image directory for the gallery with image of marriage registration which I know isn’t mine. But doesn’t show in the gallery.

Are you absolutely sure that it is the new version of modules.php, not the earlier one?

It’s there. Marriage index. Should I try creating one to make sure I’m following along, before I remove yours?
