Wanted to test password reset before having users use it. Failed to work on A-D site but works on Royals. Using SMTP in site config, matched the criteria between two sites.

Tried my “editor” account. If I set approved to email/administrator, get error:

ERROR 2: Unknown: Cannot call session save handler in a recursive manner
    0 Error occurred on

if I uncheck approved to email/administrator, reset password produces blank page

    I turned your account on.

I’m about to release the latest version (3.3.11) which should fix this.

After getting site working, tried to reset “editor” user password. Same problems. Works fine if done from Royals site yet everything matches.

    Try it with SMTP disabled.

A-D: no email received (password reset) using PHP instead of SMTP. (Admin configuration)

Kennedys/Royal: email received (password reset) using SMTP.

    That suggests only two possibilities:

    1. Did update to kiwitrees 3.3.11 work correctly and fully on your A-D site?  Try uploading the files again?
    2. There is something wrong with the mail server connected to your A-D site. Check with your web host. Can you send any other emails within your AoD site? Try sending one to my user account on the site.
