I created a new family tree off my A-D site. Added a new user but when I saved his record, the page went blank. Had to create user and password as email wasn’t sending properly.

A blank page will usually be accompanied by a corresponding entry in your web server’s error log. Can you look it up and post it here, then I can see where to look for what the fix might be.
Is this about one bug, or two? You mentioned a blank page after saving details for a new user, and then “email wasn’t sending properly”. I am aware of a couple of possible issues that might cause the first, but nothing I (yet) know about regarding current email issues in kiwitrees.

I’m looking at the server logs folder and have no idea what to look for inside.
- access.log.0
- access.log.2021-09-10.gz t0 13 are timestamped from2021
- rror.log.2021-09-10.gz to 13 are also from 2021
Yes, guess I did include two issues. This thread deals with new account. Will deal with the password afterwards as I let him know I’ll pick the password for him.

error.log.2021-09-10.gz to 13 are also from 2021You are looking for the “error.log” file (not the other two). You need to find the current file – i.e. the one with the entry for the date / time the error occurred. The one you mentioned here seem to be from last year. If you have those then somewhere should be the current ones. Perhaps your web host can tell you where they are?
Once you have the right file, and the approximate date / time in that file, there will be a message in there that describes an error that has some mention if “user”, or admin_users.php” or similar in it.

Ah, tried another folder “https:” Will send via email as it probably contains what shouldn’t be posted.
