I have just uploaded the new translation file for the next release.
Although it will appear to have quite a lot of new translation strings many of these are from the “Calendar utilities” module and refer to some very specific tools. These are not critical text, and may not even be fully applicable to all languages / cultures so I recommend (unless those are important to you) that you do any other translation changes before those.
I aim to release 3.1 next week and will include any updated language files available at that time. But you can continue to translate after that point, and I will provide the updated translations as separate downloads if necessary.
Thanks again for all your help in translating kiwitrees.
Nigel

About the new translations
You have made this
Your web server is using PHP version %s, which is no longer receiving security updates. You should upgrade to a later version as soon as possible.I suggest we also have a note like “You might have to contact your provider”. Not all users have access to edit the php version
A question about the PHP version
KT runs at 5.6 now ? In case not – then we need a max. php version info in the help fileRegards, Jamie Jaconelli

I disagree. It is not for kiwitrees to tell users how to upgrade their server or PHP. It is enough that we remind ( not require) them to upgrade it.
Of course, if I added anything like that it would be advice to transfer hosting to kiwitrees.net πHowever translations do not need to be exact. If you feel a different text would be appropriate for Danish users you can use that. I would never know π
A question about the PHP version
KT runs at 5.6 now ? In case not β then we need a max. php version info in the help fileI never include a maximum version. I would need to explain why it can not be used, and I know of no reason at present why kiwitrees would not work with 5.6, so until someone tells me there is no need for such advice. If anyone does know of an issue just tell me what it is and I’ll fix it and release an update. It will not be anything significant.
Also, the reason for the warning is that old versions of PHP can be a security risk once they are no longer maintained. No other reason is important.

Hehe I allready did (but you do not know π )
Well I did go through the zend files a while ago. But forgot most of it. It is really many zend files that have to be fixed before it can run at 5.6
Sorry Nigel, but you will never get the danes! π Most of them take a host that speak danish. Prolly also the reason why so many switched after establish of the danish support! Many danes older than me – can not speak/read/understand english! But just an idea – I can teach you danish and then you can supply them π
Njah all good!
But perhabs a message for them like; “if you have no idea about php then contact kiwitrees.net” or something similar! Just do not let it “stand alone” like it is something the users can fix by them self using kiwitrees. Not all have a clue about the system behind the interface!
