    Hello,

I’m having trouble running the ‘Missing Data’ report for burial records.

I’ve navigated to Administration > Family tree tools > Missing data. Setting myself as the individual, all relatives across all generations with only the ‘Burial’ event selected returns no results.

I then tried this for one of my ancestors, Arthur Whitten, whose parents I’ve confirmed do not have a burial record.

    It returns the message:
0 individuals out of 34 relatives.
0 events out of 0 events.

Arthur’s dad with no burial record: http://djw.link/file/65b2c1ea45ae.png

It works if I select a different event, such as death, just not for burial. Is there something different about the way burial records are handled in the missing data page?

I thought I’d tested that, but perhaps not. I’ll try to investigate tomorrow, but it’s a public holiday weekend so it might be a couple of days.

No rush Nigel, just when you get a chance. Enjoy the weekend! ๐Ÿ™‚

That was a silly coding error – I missed off a complete block of text needed for the BURI tag ๐Ÿ™

But equally easy to fix. Just extract the file admin_trees_missing.php from the attached zip folder and use it as replacement for the existing file of same name in your server’s kiwitrees root folder.

(Note this version also includes the new “media objects” feature added as per this conversation: http://kiwitrees.net/forums/topic/sanity-request/#post-7621 not otherwise available until the next release.)

While reading that topic, I’d also be interested in your feedback on my thoughts about simplifying the “Missing data” tool and then being able to extend it to almost any fact or event, included in that thread.
