I’m raising this issue now because if you log into my site, you can see if I have something set wrong.
My cousin (Colin) cannot see Sources which I have set to Members. He is a Member.

I’ve just ‘masqueraded’ as Colin, and I (he) can see sources in the “List > Sources page. But it’s only about 20% of the full list, so something is “off”.
Can you be more specific. An example of a source he’s not seeing?

He’s not seeing sources on Indi pages as he sent an email with errors/omissions and asked about my Sources which I thought he was seeing. List > Sources page I was playing in admin with Modules and probably checked this on.

I’ve just looked at A20106 while masquerading as Colin. No problem seeing any of the sources there.
Could it be that he doesn’t understand some of the finer points about viewing details of the site? e.g: click on the source tab (at that indi) and there are no sources shown. Select “Show all sources” and they are there.

It’s also me not seeing them masquerading as him. Per attached. No source to click for expanding. And, I have them set open by default (easier for me).
There should be Source for newspaper announcement and an image of the same. Strange that when I went to his father’s page I see the sources.
I am going to get him to send me screen capture of his record and his father’s, wife and ex as his modifications targeted these people.

I referred to indi A20106, not Colin’s own record. But that might provide a clue anyway.

OK, found the problem 🙂
You have REPO (repositories) set to “Show to managers”. Like all privacy settings, the restriction is prioritised from the safest down. So if a source includes a repository, which is restricted to managers, then the whole source becomes restricted to managers.
That’s why he can see some but not all sources.

I’m masquerading now as Colin. His own record doesn’t show most of the sources. Yet, other records are. But not necessarily 100%. Looking at his son and some are missing, some appear. My intention is members and above see Sources. Visitors do not.
Removed the “sources” tab which as I mentioned was on in error.

Thanks, corrected setting. Tried again and see the Sources as expected.
