There is no bug in the latest version of kiwitrees that would cause that. If you think you have found a bug in an old version then I cannot help.

Check your GEDCOM raw data for that individual. I am 100% certain you will find that both images ARE connected to that person.

I agree. But I see no problem.

I16699 has two images linked. Both are displayed.
I11620 has one image linked and it is the only one displayed.

NO PROBLEM. but as you say, you can update to version 3.2.3 is better?

Of course the latest version is better.

But the display of images for these two individuals will be the same. They are correct.
