I received this message yesterday from a user:

Just letting you know that when I edit a marriage and use the ‘type’ drop down box to make it a “common law marriage” ie, not formally married (as I have done many times in the past), it does nothing.

They are quite correct. It is a bug, and is also likely to affect the NAME type drop-down.

The attached zip folder contains a simple fix. Just copy the included file functions_edit.php and replace the version on your server at /includes/functions/functions_edit.php

The zip file in this thread is dated March 6 so don’t want to re-install until verified it’s the one. Unzipped it has 7 files that I previously uploaded and will replace.

No, it’s only got one file!! Apart from functions_edit.php was does it include?

I’ve just posted an Announcement about the date:

“Do not be concerned that its date is similar. It was fixed on the 6th March, but the wrong version uploaded to the topic.”

Apologies, confused with the 7-file fix for access levels etc. Will install the file in this thread.
