The top of the HTML editor window is hidden behind the kiwitrees theme title and menu

Have you tried scrolling? The kiwitrees theme header is designed to stay fixed wile the rest of the page scrolls.

Yes.
It’s not a problem, the editting window and save button are usable. Just wondering if anyone else had the same effect or whether it is my linux mint & chrome combination?

The problem is only when I change the large top block to be HTML and try editting. When I edit a small HTML block at the bottom I can scroll to see the whole edit window.

Yes I have seen it, and like you decided it was not a major issue. It is not really browser dependent, but will be effected by things like screen size, displayed font size etc. It is unfortunate also that the HTML block is so large.
In a future release I may move such configurations to the admin pages rather than a pop-up window, which would remove the problem completely.

Actually looking again there’s a fairly simple fix for this. I’ll include it in the next release.
For now you can simply amend the file /themes/kiwitreees/style.css by adding this to the group of style under the heading “========= jquery-ui.custom.css changes ============”
with this:.ui-front { z-index: 2000; }

Are you trying to manually code it, or are you using the “Insert slideshow” icon on the wysiwyg editor menu bar?

I’ve been trying the wysiwyg method today but am switching off for tonight now.
