That means your server ran out of of time and probably locked up for a while. Once it clears (dependent on server settings) other facts should work ok.
It’s a limitation of the code in the current version which (I hope) will be fixed in kiwitrees-nova.
Because the Advanced search has different code, restricted mainly to births and deaths, it can run faster.
