Following my last question about Google Analytics (with which I have now disconnected) I thought I’d ask about people’s experience of adding Facebook and Twitter scripts to the customjavascript module. I do not use Twitter but do have a private very small facebook presence. I’m not a fan of social media but I have seen many references to it in genealogy circles. I feel it should be something I should take on, so I added the javascript. Nice icons in the footer. Has anyone else done this or are willing to post their views?
Paul
I don’t use any links to social media on my own site, but I do agree that they can have their uses. I do have them (or at least twitter) on this site.
Because I have a busy personal kiwitrees site, and one that has been “live” for nearly 20 years now, I find that gives me more than enough connections to keep me more than busy enough 🙂
I answered my own question a second or two after I posted it with the thought “yet more digital clutter”. Thanks (I think England Covid Lockdown 2 is getting to me …)
