    I am trying to separate the 2 fancy reports by making a new extra menu.

    Here I noticed if I set member access at the (main standard for the these “fancy” reports) menu but visitor access at the individ in the report I can se the report even that I choose member access at the main. Should it not be controlled by the main menu (like only for members) and then after that choose which access for each report?

    I do know I can not have 1level) Member access and 2level) Visitor access but I should have 1level) Member access (or in my case hide for everybody) 2level) Only for admin or hide for everybody!

    Did I misunderstood the whole concept? Because in my opinion it is opposite than the other menus setup for access

    This is by a long way the most complex menu item in the system.

    I think the answer is that you have only set the main menu access level for one of the two fancy_reports. To hide the “Overview” menu item you need to set it for both Ancestors report and Descendants report. in the Modules > Menus screen.

    I see the complex – Then I had to think 🙂

    I managed to separate them! I removed the chart menu and replaced them with the ancestor report. I found it annoying that the charts are based on the root individ (which is me) and most of them were empty because I am still alive (lucky me :P)

    It is the 2 icons after “Home menu” which is based of those 2 kinds of reports.

    If other want to know “how to” then I just made a copy of the “extra menu module”. Used the chart icon and added those reports I wanted in the new extra menu module! I made a space (a menu without a link) between the first and second menu.

    All the ancestor reports are hidden in the “overview” menu and “hidden” in the ancestor setup. Before hiding – I copied the link for the first ancestor report! (after that just changing the ID number for copying them all to the new extra menu)
