      Nigel:

I know this had been shot down before on the webtrees forum but is there any possible way to batch re-order the children in a family by date of birth? I have started working with a fairly large new GEDCOM and the haphazard sort of the children is a real aggravation.

      Thanks.

It should be possible. I would assume it would need to use the same code as used in the family edit screen “re-order by birth”. Then it could be added to the ‘Batch update” module.

The major problem is that I’m unlikely to get time to look at it before Xmas.

This should have pretty low priority in your kiwitrees update work. I will be appreciated if you are able to work it in.

      Thanks
