INDI A13745 has a SOUR link to S5823 . S5823 does not exist.

Know what the error is, how to fix. But, can I do the fix for the multiple records affected rather than one-by-one?

That will depend what the solution is surely.

In this example it could mean either literally that S5823 does not exist, or that the reference in A13745 is wrong. Every error usually has at least two possible causes like this, so no, a bulk fix could never work.

However if you have a systemic problem in your data, such as using ‘s’ instead of ‘S’ then you could probably use Batch Update, or an external search and replace tool.

This particular error for all occurrences of this one error maybe one of those two, exactly. Just wondering if offline is the only way to solve for all of them at once instead of opening each indi and “re-attaching”.

Sounds like a perfect problem to solve with Batch Update. There is no better way.

Saw the raw code: @S5823 @. So, would I have left trailing space in each of these records (12-15)? Strange.

Strange – yes, but not impossible. I can think of many ways that could be done.

Reviewing the changes log filtered for that record might pin-point when it happened, if you think it would help to understand the “how” of it. Personally I would just fix it and move on.

Fixed offline and re-imported as I was able to fix another boo-boo of link to INDI record instead of image.

Every occurrence of that source was flagged (27). Will check logs, out of curiosity.
