I was trying an advanced search:

    First Name: Harriet
    Born: 1865
    Died: after 1939
    Place: Kent

    it crashed out with:

Yes, I see what you mean. It doesn’t like 2 dates with only one place. In the most complex database query in the system 🙁

In my testing, the attached file seems to fix the issue. But can you test it for me? There are many different combinations for an advanced search, so I might still have missed something. I’ll leave the bug _in progress” until (if) you confirm its OK.

    The file replaces kiwitrees/library/WT/Controller/Search.php

Same result. I would put this very low priority unless anyone else is bothered by it.

Such a search is unlikely to be done again – I used a different way to find the person I was looking for.
With the replacement file I also tried the same search adding place of birth as England. It did not crash. Did not find any individuals and did not say there were no matches.

Check your logs (in kiwitrees admin). If there’s no result there should be something there. It might help.
