DataTables warning: table id=change_list – Ajax error. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/7
Thought I’d submit both types o errors as they’re both in Admin.
Not sure if first is related to my attempt to run Facts and Events > Custom Fact > Type: Common ancestor (or any other type of custom fact) and no results.
Second (above) is doing housekepping of logs for previous year(s). Accepted would not delete to 31 Dec 2021

A couple of questions before I look at this…
- Did your selection (filtering) include anything apart from the date and “accepted” fields? Just so I can replicate the issue.
- Which of your sites is this on?
- Are you aware that on the INDI pages there is a “Changes” tab (if you have it enabled) that displays the recorded changes for that individual. If you tidy up this data table you will lose the data the tab uses. Just a thought. Your choice between any value the tab might have and the benefits of down-sizing the data storage.

The error you saw generally points to a corrupt record in your data.
I tried deleting some of the earliest few days of records you have, and they all deleted OK.
I’d prefer not to be the one deleting your data though 🙂
I recommend you delete in blocks until you find and narrow down the item in question. If you can identify a single record, or at least a small block of them you can show me the page (before you click “delete”, so I can tell if there are any obvious and fixable issues. Otherwise, delete them manually from the database (“xx_changes” table)

That wont help. I was only referring to errors in the changes log table in the database. Not errors in the actual current GEDCOM data.

Can’t display anything in Changes Log > Accepted. Only shows the error.

Odd. It worked fine for me. I set dates by leaving “from” at its default and setting “to” date as just a couple of days later.
You haven’t tried with the month/day figures transposed in error?

wiLl try again shortly.
Found some bad GEDCOM I’m fixing. Interesting offline program FTanalyzer.app. It choked trying to display the code (too long) but did provide the errors. Want to inish and run backup again.
