Wim
Is that only on the page for I3844 or any individual? If only that one then it is most likely to be a data error. But it is very unusual for data to cause a 500 error.
First, you need to look in your web server logs to see of there is any information to help explain what the actual cause is. If you don’t have access, you will need to ask your web host to look for you.

It happens at any individual.
I had made a researchlink and tested this link. The link did work but it didn’t show any result. So I deleted the link, was seraching for another person and this happens. Now I see that
kiwitrees/module.php?mod=simpl_research&mod_action=admin_config
would not show up. -

It is possible that you have corrupted the file /modules_v3/simpl_research/module.php Try replacing it with the original from the download.
This can easily happen if you use certain text editors. They insert a “byte order mark” (bom) invisibly at the start of the file, which breaks php. That would cause an error code 500.
Out of interest, what site did you try to create a research plugin for?

The problem is not gone.
I tried to make a link to http://www.geldersarchief.nl/
I have about 30 links, (some are in kiwitrees) that I want to add in kiwitrees.

Did you look in your web server logs?

Nigel, I have an error-log and an acces log.
Error log is about a favicon: file does not exist.
acces log, Don’t know what I’m looking for.
I will send an e-mail with the file attached.I will test the link tomorrow.

It is only the error log that is of interest – but it contains nothing useful.
Looking at your site it is clear there are no major issues, and the problem is only with individual.php as far as I can see.
Try replacing the file kiwitrees/individual.php with the original download version.
If that doesn’t work, can you give me a user account as “administrator” (details to me via email) so I can look further?
