The 2.0.1 Administration/Stories provides a blank work area. I don’t know if that is by design. Editing Stories works fine, including the new link feature, when entering through the tab on an individuals page.
I really like the new changes in 2.0.1.
You are 8,532 miles or 13,731 Km away from me and can still see when I am away from home. That’s when you post the kiwi-trees updates. So far you are 2 for 2! How do you manage that?
Another great job!

Not quite sure what you mean. Even with no stories ever added you should get something on the admin page. Can you give me a temporary admin access so I can see what you are seeing?

Thanks for the login. The good news is that on your site I do see exactly what you described. That at least confirms it as not browser related.
But I can’t reproduce it anywhere else, and as you say everything else about the stories module works fine.
So at this stage my best guess is an incomplete upload of the file /modules_v3/stories/module.php. Can you try uploading it again.

Replaced the stories module.php without success. Created a new webtrees site on server and the issue disappeared. With the exception of the database, both sites are set up identically but one has an operating Administration/Stories and the other doesn’t. I don’t get it. If it becomes an issue, I will move everything to the new site. Thanks for taking a look.

Thanks for the update. That is certainly odd. Have you tried copying the existing stories over to the new install? It would be interesting to see if that causes the problem to re-appear.

Copied one story over to the new installation. The problem with Administration/Stories reoccurred. removed the story but the problem remained. Cleared caches but the problem still exists.
If it helps, I have attached the story that was transferred for this test.
For now it doesn’t pose any issues for me since there is a work-a-round.
Thanks.

Thanks. Very strange though. I loaded the same story, with only the images missing, to my test site with no problems.
We’ll have to leave it for now and see if anyone else experiences something similar.
