Looking into this it was only an issue if using ANY language other than English. I had mistakenly made gallery them names a translatable text item, but they are used as folder names so cannot be translatable.

The error message above is shown on-screen in some browsers, but others, depending on settings, may only display a blank gallery page

This is now fixed. The fix will be included in the next release.
