    Looking at a single row is meaningless I’m afraid. The widths are set based on the widest of ALL rows in the entire table (not just the ones shown on the first page)
    The width of dates can be far longer than that:
    “between 1st October 1856 and 31st December 1856” is a common format. It is the correct representation of “Qtr 4 1856”. I have thousands like that, and they might be longer still in some translations.

    I will have a play with it if I get time, but I’m not optimistic it can be significantly improved.
