I’ve just had a quick look, and it might be easier than I thought.

In your mystyles.css add this:

.icon-plus,
.icon-minus {
    float:left;
}

This way all colors users don’t have to agree 🙂

But please test it in as many different pages as you can, in case there are any that don’t work like this.
