To unlink an image go to Album tab > mouse-point to the image image > Manage links

Re “Unused images” : these are images that are NOT linked to any record in the tree so not really relevant to your problem. In your case you have three trees. The option “Create – Kennedys” is to allow you to connect images to THAT tree (only) because it is NOT currently linked there. That part of the problem will go away when I fix /remove the Kennedy tree for you (later today).

I think what you want to do is

a) unlink A6208-1.png from A6208 (Use Album tab > mouse-point to the image image > Manage links for that), then

b) Use Album tab > Link to an existing image to add A6208-32.png to the same individual (A6208)

If not, please explain further.
